New iPad 4 Release Australia
Apple’s has released news of a new iPad that will go on sale on Tuesday February 5 for $869 for the wi-fi only model and $1009 for the wi-fi and mobile data version. This is double the space of existing models which is sure to help given the larger data needs of business and personal users of today. Apart from the increased storage model, nothing else has notably changed with the release touted as a fourth generation iPad rather than a new model.
Quoting Apple senior vice president of marketing Philip Schiller – “With twice the storage capacity and an unparalleled selection of over 300,000 native iPad apps, enterprises, educators and artists have even more reasons to use iPad for all their business and personal needs,”
Apple has currently sold more than 120 million iPads worldwide and is aiming the larger storage models at the business and development community and growth in these areas. This is likely one of many measures set to ease the current Wall Street concerns about the Companies growth strategy and current trading environment. Company shares lost about 12 per cent of their value last week after the company reported earnings that showed lower profit margins and smaller anticipated growth than was previously anticipated.
It is expected this year for Apple to further release a much upgraded iPad model and also a successor to the iPhone 5, most likely being an upgrade like prevous 3G to 3Gs, and iPhone 4 to 4S upgraded models.
